京都出身
14歳よりギターを始める。 高校卒業後、専門学校に入学。西野やすし氏に師事。
BLUES、JAZZ、FUNK、SOULなど、ブラックミュージックの虜になる。
在学中、ヤマハ主催のティーンズ・ミュージック・フェスティバルにて京都代表となり、全国大会に進んだ事を機にプロ活動を開始。
Mr.Children 桜井和寿氏をはじめ、様々なアーティストに関わるレコーディング、ライブサポート。またサッカー日本代表セレモニーやCM音楽のギターレコーディングを担当。
レッスン歴は17年、大阪の専門学校でギター講師も勤める。
大阪市内のライブバーを中心に、毎月5回のセッション、ワークショップを開催しながら日々黒人グルーヴを研究、発信中。

From Kyoto JAPAN
Started playing guitar at the age of 14. After graduating from high school, he entered a vocational school. Studied under the guitarist" Yasushi Nishino".
Be captivated by black music such as BLUES, JAZZ, FUNK, SOUL.
While in school, he represented Kyoto at the Teens Music Festival sponsored by Yamaha.
Started professional activities after advancing to the national tournament.
Mr. Kazutoshi Sakurai from"Mr.Children", recording and live support for various artists.
In addition, he was in charge of guitar recording for the Japan national soccer team ceremony and commercial music.
He has been teaching guitar for 17 years and is also a guitar instructor at a vocational school in Osaka.
While holding 5 sessions and workshops every month, mainly at live bars in Osaka city
Researching and disseminating "African-American music" groove every day.
